I love hedgehogs! Shaymin is a hedgehog Pokémon... so my love of them makes a lot of sense. Shaymin's Pokédex entry in Pokémon Platinum is as follows: "The flowers all over its body burst into bloom if it is lovingly hugged and senses gratitude". Cute!

Fun Fact: I used to have a shaymin plush when I was little, but the flowers on it fell off. RIP.
